Meet Alexia

Alexia J. Semlek is an experienced probate, trust, and mental health litigator.  She has represented hospitals and individuals in guardianships and conservatorships, health care companies and families with respect to mental health issues,  and private fiduciaries, trust departments, and individuals in estate planning, administration and litigation.

Alexia has worked in private practice her whole career, with a focus on volunteerism and community outreach.  She served as the chair of the Elder Law, Mental Health, and Special Needs Section for the State Bar of Arizona as well as the Young Lawyer’s Division President, and as a representative on the State Bar of Arizona Board of Governors.  Alexia participates regularly in community fairs and pro bono service events, speaking often on the issues of estate litigation, incapacity, and the Arizona Court Order for Treatment system.

Alexia is originally from Wyoming, but moved to New York City to attend Columbia University for her undergraduate degree.  Since Alexia moved to Arizona to attend Arizona State University, Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law, she has made her home in Central Phoenix, where she enjoys being a vibrant participant in the great Arizona outdoors, community arts, music, and public service.  She looks forward to many years of legal representation of Arizona families.
